While the city is expensive it is easy to find cheap flights and accommodation which can make up for how expensive the city is. There are artsy bars and extremely friendly locals. There is also old and interesting architecture in the city as well as sculpture parks near Oslo including the art by famous artists such as Gustav Vigeland and Louise Bourgeois. The Munch museum is also a must see in the city.

A great city and you need atleast 3 days to see the whole experience. Also a good weather will make your trip as the best.
