You must be able to feel comfortable even in a small space
The good connection to public transport was positive. The bus stop is just nearby and there is a regular bus that takes you to or from Oerlikon station.
If in doubt, I would stay here again because this hotel is located just outside the center of Zurich and is therefore slightly more affordable than the hotels in the city center.

Jedoch bedauern wir, dass die Größe Ihres Zimmers nicht Ihren Vorstellungen entsprochen hat. Unsere Zimmer sind so gestaltet, dass sie eine gemütliche und funktionale Unterkunft bieten, wobei wir stets bestrebt sind, den Raum optimal zu nutzen.
Dennoch ist es großartig, dass Sie die gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr hervorheben. Die Nähe zur Bushaltestelle und die bequeme Erreichbarkeit des Bahnhofs Oerlikon tragen dazu bei, dass unsere Gäste leicht Zugang zu Zürich und den umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten haben. Auch freut es uns, dass Sie die Preisgestaltung unseres Hotels schätzen, welches eine erschwingliche Alternative zu den Unterkünften im Stadtzentrum bietet.

Nice cosy room
Too expensive compared with the same hotel standards in South East Asia. I think the sockets to charge iPhone don’t work both at bedhead and the USB on the table. I tried with no luck. Carpet in room is getting old now. Housekeepers knocked my door twice around 10am as they wanted to clean room. I told them I would check out soon and I checked out around 10:40am. I thought they had in their notes that rooms having guests checking out after only 1 night don’t need to be cleaned. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

However, we are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We understand your concerns regarding the price comparison with other regions; please know that our rates are competitive within the Zurich market and reflect the high standard of service and amenities we strive to provide. Regarding the charge sockets, we will certainly look into this issue, as our aim is to offer a seamless experience for all our guests. Your comment about the carpet has been noted, and we assure you that we maintain our facilities with care, including regular refurbishment as was done in spring 2018. We apologize for the oversight by our housekeeping staff and will remind our team to be mindful of our guests' preferences concerning room cleaning times.
Finally, we are delighted that the cleanliness and brightness of your bathroom added to the comfort of your stay. Our convenient location between the Congress Area and the Airport is something we take pride in, and we are glad this contributed positively to your overall experience.

Urine smell in the bathroom and dirt in the room
How can a maid give up a room like this?
I complained that I couldn't stay like this.
Unkindly and without apology, I was then allocated room 506.
The bar staff is mega unfriendly and not interested in the guest.
For this price such dirty room is outrageous.
Old and worn out is one thing but dirty is another.
I even left earlier because I could not sleep in this smell.
Unfortunately, the management is never available.
