Nice neighborhood, plenty of restaurants and accomodations with reasonable price and will suit any choices of you like
las Palmas is the capital of Gran Canaria, the city runs along the sea with the port on your right, for yacht enthusiasts its from here in November that the the arc rally gathers for their yearly event of parties before setting sail to the caribean to spend xmas in St. Lucia. The capital also has the museum of Columbus who over 5 oo years ago set sail from las palmas to the americas. The capital has seen many changes over the years but is well worth visiting, with a mix of old and modern.
A gorgeous city, the Old City in particular is beautiful. The Cathedral de Santa Ana Maria and Columbus House are well worth the visit
My beloved home for a pop of time, this island city has all the convenience and energy of a city, but the laid back culture of the Canary Islands. Hidden tascas and tucked away bars boast incredible local cuisine and the long boardwalk of Playa las Canteras always in walking distance from the hustle and bustle of the city.
