What a beautiful scene and watching flowers blooming every where really makes me happy and joyful.
While the lavender fields of nearby Biei get the bulk of the tourist crowds, Furano is just as beautiful of a spot to visit, and less busy besides. Soak in some hot springs, take a tour of traditional artisan craft workshops, go hiking or mountain biking, even skiing and snowboarding in winter (hey, there's a lot of snow up here in Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost outpost!).
I visited around End July, not a very best time to visit because many flowers have passed their best moment, however I'm glad to come!
Great flowers. Loved the train ride there.
